i was looking on ebay for a new front bumper because i hit a deer and i was looking at this one is this a good price and is it the right bumper, i am wondering because it doesnt have the plastic on it. Thanks
I don't know about the price but most bumpers are sold without the additional valance pieces (that plastic you talked about). Either you take them off the old bumper or you have to find and purchase those extra.
The link is to an aftemarket bumper, so it probably doesn't use the plastic cover. I have heard before that aftermarket bumpers are often made of thinner, less quality steel, so you may want to keep that in mind (except of course the big strong aftermarker bumpers like Ranchhand, Ruenel, etc).
Currently looking for a front bumper for an 06 F-250 if anyone out there has one! Some a$$ backed into my truck-
If you have full coverage insurance, just claim it under your comprehensive and buy a good aftermarket bumper like an ARB, Fab Fours, or Road Armor bumper.
Thanks. Once I get her paid for, I can start doing some mods.
did you just call it a her? big mistake, HE will now cause you problems...i promise...lol... i ran into a pole in a parking lot the other day and jacked up my bumper...can i claim that as comprehensive?

No my friend, that would be collision. My comprehensive deductible is $0, while my collision deductible is $500. If I hit a pole, I would just buy an aftermarket bumper and forget about filing a claim on the insurance.
dude the pole had roots, and it grew while i was inside EATING a chicken wrap...no beer in my body...i swear that pole was not there when i parked it...now that i think about it it did rain a little while i was inside, so the pole plant got some water to grow larger...i swear redford ...why would i lie to you?
FWIW, I wouldn't make a claim for something so minor. It's not worth the black mark. Whether it is your fault or not, the claim goes on your "insurance record" much like a credit report and it can be considered if you get insured with a different company etc.
