The flange on the bracket goes toward the pulley.
This should get you going in the right direction.....

wait you wanted to stop, I forgot.

Also there should be three bolts on the pump end of the bracket.
They go through from the side that is up in the picture.

I need to take a picture of my hydraboost brake booster.

You want brakes, it will cost you a bit over 500 dollars.
But stopping power is not an issue.

I have a hydra boost that runs off the power steering pump instead of the vacuum brake booster.

It was stock on a 96 F450 Superduty.

You need a different power steering reservoir that has two inlets and one outlet.
Then you remove the pressure line to the steering box from both the pump and the steering box.
A new pressure line goes from the pump to the hydra boost unit.
A second new line goes from the hydra boost to the steering box.
And a third new line goes from the hydra boost to the pump as a return line.

Takes about an hour to change the booster out and hook up the lines.
A trip around the block to get all the air out of the system.
Wear your seat belt, if you push the pedal like you normally do with vacuum assist you will be doing a face plant on the windshield.

I found the parts receipt the other day when I was searching for a starter receipt.
