05 front end question

I am looking into changing out my 02 grill bumper and headlights to the 05. My question is concerning the bumper. Do I need new mounting brackets?

Yes. And the headerpanel, if you got foglights, you need those new brackets also.

You don't have to replace the header panel, it can be trimmed to accept the '05-newer headlights.

I just found the kit at powerstrokeshop.com that includes everything needed. The price didnt seem too bad considering what all is included.

Have you thought of trying this instead? It doesn't use the 05 and up headlights but it doesn't require any trimming and it is a billet piece instead of plastic. This is what I'm going to do eventually.

I have looked at the grill only option. I might do that on my pickup, but I am suppose to be picking up an 02 excursion this weekend and I want to put the entire 05 frontend on it. My wife really likes the 05 ex, but there is no way I was going to by one with a 6.0 so I found what is suppose to be a very clean 02.
