silt fence installer

I was wondering if anyone here has used a silt fence installer that attaches to a skid steer. Myself and a friend have been looking at them and wonder how well they work. How much does one go for? They look like pretty neat machines.

I'm sure we could and we could also dig a trench but this would save a bunch of time.

i'd bet you could biuld something like that,that would work just as good and be cheaper.when we put in our well it turned out to be artesian and we had to put up one of these fences to keep debri from getin into the run off, all we did was to use a home made deal we use for burin wire.it just makes an 1 1/2 trench stuck the 'fence" down in there and walked down the side to pack it back in just like the guy in the vid
