2002 windstar gauges going nuts
Hello, I posted this in the electrical thread also. I have a 02 windstar with a 3.8 v6. When the van gets warm and on a long drive 20 to 30 mins, the lights start to go dim and the guages start pegging and then go back to normal. I have replaced the alt battery and checked the cables. I called the ford dealer and they think I may need to have the PCM reflashed. I understand the voltage regulator is in the PCM is this true and could a reflash fix this problem? Thanks!
