Finally got around to working on mine yesterday. Took about a half of a quart container of acetone, half a roll of shop towels, some 2" wide masking tape, and about three beers. I taped up the paint around them out about 6", and went at it with the acetone & shop towels. Came out nice:
I've been thinking about an Ex. Maybe next diesel will be a 6.0 Ex...
Forgot to mention that I did use a toothbrush for some of the tough spots, but very slow, and didn't need it much. I was surprised at how easy the paint came out of the nooks & crannies with just the acetone.
