My new Freestyle (07) has CD changer and the CD player adds a gap of one second silence between ALL tracks. Most times it is not a problem, but many classic rock CD's have tarcks that are to be played with no gap (i.e. Boston's Foreplay/Long Time, Beatles Abbey Road Side 2, Old Genesis / Yes albums, etc. all have songs that play without a gap between tracks. It ruins the flow if a gap is added by the CD player. Anyone else experience this? Any solutions???

Are these CDs that you downloaded and put together. Or were they purchased?

 

Both home-made and purchased. It happens between ALL tracks on ALL discs. I'm hoping it's a feature that can be disabled with some "secret" sequence of commands not listed in the owners manual. (BTW, these discs do play properly in my home and walkman CD players, so I'm sure the problem lies in the vehicle's CD player.) Thanks for you help.
