A technical question K?

Ok as we all may or may not know
I own a 1967 3/4 with a Dana 60 in the rear and twin I beams in the front.

I also have my 1969 1/2 ton with a 9inch in the rear and once again twin i beams in the front.

Both do not have power steering or brakes.

Here is my question what would be the easiest way to make my 1967 3/4 ton into a 1/2 ton poteintially using the donor parts from my 1969 1/2 ton.

Okay i guess i can be first.....and maybe not correct but.......
Don't you just have to change the springs around and you could use what ever rear axle you choose. I would use the 9 inch.

It's all bolt on parts. So just swap axles or swap axles and springs if you want a HD 1/2 ton.

I don't get it. You guys want the big new Superduty's but if you have a HD old pickup it must be a 1/2 ton.

I can't afford a fancy Superduty so I'm making one!

Bring $$$ As you need F-350 pickup axles front and rear. C&C rear axles are too narrow. Don't use adapters on the rear.

The spindles (and I'd assume axles) are different. But if the axles are the same then Morris has some 93 dually spindles.

The reason I drive Superduties are because they are work trucks. The 700km to a tank of fuel with the diesel is nice too. I don't know to many people that want to restore a truck and take it out in the bush and sink it to the frame.

i was thinking of trying to find a conversion kit for it, or find a whole axle assembly at the wreckers. the truck i had in mind is only a half ton 2wd, the conversion would be mostly for looks.

I'm gonna get my truck dirty many times. It's got to be christened at least once. I won't bury it to the frame though, I may take it up to about 6".
