frame problems

hey I have a 1996 f150 single cab long bed 4x4 with a 5.0 and auto tranny i wrecked my frame when i was weeling and i want to put a f350 frame with sraight axle because over the years the cross member that the twin traction beam bull s**t connects to is cracked. can anyone tell me what years will work on with my cab and motor. thanks

I'm not 100% sure, but I think 1987 -1996 should work, you may have to drill a couple of new holes here and there for stuff, but the frame should bolt right up the body and stuff. I don't know much about the older trucks but there is a possiblity that a 1980-1986 frame could fit, but I don't know much about the older truck, alls I know that alot the parts on my '87 are on a late model 85 and 86

Even as old as 80 the cab mounts are same it up front where you hit differences bumper mounts ETC . But if you don't care about front bumper then any from 87 up should be fine.
