i have the eec-iv i just bought actron cp9145 super auto scaner
thats how i got this code e4od
I have no idea what to tell you then as you are getting non-standard codes for a 1990 E150.
You should have gotten a book with it to tell you what its codes mean.
If you want to ground the STI pin and count the flashes with CEL then we can help you.
If you get a 172 on the CEL it would mean:
HEGO sensor circuit indicates system lean (right side)
And this would mean the EGR valve is stuck open, a bad HEGO sensor, low fuel pressure or a vacuum leak.
I do not use the fancy code scanners unless it is an OBDII system.
i think i know what the problem is i think low pump pressure
i have electric fuel pump i done test it seems to me its not holding
pressure when i turn key it drops i dont if it could be the the first pump
