I am in need of an OE fuel pump...65 352 sealed carter type pump w/filter mounted below it...if anyone know where I can get one, let me know...casting numbers are as follows...4007, no letter after it and 6E29A which I would gather is its build date maybe...plz help...I had gotten a new one, non Carter but 1 1/2 lbs of pickup pressure sure as heck isnt cutting it...If anyone knows of or happens to have one around Id be most appreciative...also if anyone knows if this crosses over onto any cars for those with all the books that would be great too...
Checked out Hollander Interchange Manual and appears there are few trucks and vehicles where the fuel pumps are interchangeable for the 65 w/ 352 but of the same vintage as your truck. There is also another listing but apparently it has a filter incorporated in the pump. Not likely going to find them in salvage yards and probably just as hard to find parts for than your 65 truck. The manual makes referrence to 70-72 models, does not indicate which models, but apparently those that do have the ident # stamped on the pump. The Ident. # listed in Hollander is RD410MF which does mean a heck of a lot to me. Anyhow, if able to make any sense out it good luck.
I got a Carter brand #4007 - pretty sure that was it - at Carquest a few months ago. May still have the box around if you need the number. It's the same pump the 292s used.

Thanks Loads Guys...cs65
Originally there were at least 5 different car & truck fuel pumps that would work. Ford replaced them ALL in 1972 with an updated part number.
I just took my old fuel pump into the parts store and they had a bunch in stock. Was like 35-40 bucks or something like that. Shouldnt be a problem to find.
Good luck
