Pitman Arm question

I recently put a 4'' lift with 36'' tires on my 97 F350. I was just wondering whats the best way to get the pitman arm off to replace it with the longer one? I was gonna try to use a pully puller but i could not seem to get a good grip on the pitman arm? any suggestions? thanks

There is a pitmsan arm puller designed to do this task.
I use a Snap-On CJ1119B pitman arm remover. These will not slip off like the three arm types.
PLenty of parts stores will rent them if you do not want to shell out the cash for a new tool.
