window regulators & turn signals

Is it possible to rework the mechanism for the window regulators, or do I need to replace them. We have a salvage yard here with a dozen or more bumpsides in various stages of scavenged. About half have workable regulators.

Do all bumpsides use the same window regulators...

The salvage yard is asking 30 a piece plus tax...is that a good price?

Also...I am having problems getting my turn signal switch to operate consistently. Any tricks? Do you recommend replacing the original, or strapping on one of the aftermarket types?

Thanks in advance....

I recently replace my turn signal switch, didn't cost much. Be sure to order the cancelling cam if you do order one. New ones sure have a nice feel after dealing with the old ones. As for the window parts, not too sure about that price. Someone will chime in, I'm certain.

i am far from the guy for advice but, here it goes. I was searching for some of those bolt on power window regulators, i found out all the regulators were interchangeable. All except for the 72. For some reason they are a lil different. I was informed the manual regulators followed the some rule.
