Looking into upgrading the trans due to substantial power loss to the rear wheels. I have the SCT tune and plenty of HP but am loosing power and torque at the trans. Has anyone used Suncoast trans. setup ? What kind of $ am I looking at to replace the stock trans, core charge and delivery, install, etc... ?
strange. HP looks good but torque looks very low even for a 6.0. If you get the complete tranny from suncoast it's about 3800 plus core plus torque convertor. Where are you located? There are other options available in a Suncoast rebuild kit. They're not that difficult to repair for someone that has the tools. Also, who did your tune? It might just be the tune you ran on the dyno.
New Jersey. So $3,800 plus shipping both ways right. I return my core trans to Suncoast ? What do you think to whole deal wil run me. Level 10 will do a Stage 3 for 6K. I thought that was high but if I am approaching that # with all the shipping and BS I may just go with the local Level 10 company.
Look at what I posted at their Dyno Day this year on Suncoast website "Bryan Batch" that was running a dyno tune from Matt @LIPD. In my 04 not the 07 will have the 07 there next Feb. As far as Suncoast goes there products are great and easy to work with staff.

Give Suncoast a call and talk to them directly. I think 6K is high also, but maybe not, especially if they offer the same warranty suncoast does. It only takes about 4 hours to pull and install one--maybe less depending on 2wd or 4wd. Weigh all your options carefully.
