Just picked up a really clean B2 with a blown motor. I don't want another 4x4 and I have a 2wd ranger that I'm parting out. Can I remove the front axle on the B2 and install the beams and radius arms off of the ranger. I want to eventually make this a steet truck. I have a 347 stroker and t-5 I want to install on the b2. But for now I am just worried about the conversion. Is this a bolt in? I know you can do it on the F-series trucks but wasn't to sure about the little guys. Thanks in advance and forgive my stupidity.
Yes, you can convert the 4wd to 2wd and swap the TTB with the 2wd beams. I forget all of the details and can't remember if the pivot mounts are the same, so you'll want to look into that. Plenty of info out there on V-8 conversions as well, as I'm sure you're aware of. Hope this helps.
I agree with KP, but there are many B2s out there are already 2wd for next to nothing and running that you can pick up as your platform for your build. KP is right, there is a lot of info out there for a v8 conversion. www.jamesduff.com has some stuff you can use in the conversion and have a pretty good tech support line. Good luck with the build!

I've lived in Michigan all my life and I think I have only seen two 2wd B2 in all my years.
Maybe they were more popular in southern states, but considering I got this b2 on a scrap run I don't have anything invested but gas and I obviously already have a parts truck. I don't know I guess it's just the whole dare to be different thing. That or I'm just a typical gear head. lol
The 2wd pieces bolt right up to the BII frame / cheap and dirty way to run it until you swap in the 347 and t-5 - leave the transfer case in 2 HI. After the swap look for later Ranger/Mazda B4000 front spindles and larger Disk brakes along with Explorer 8.8 rear axle assembly equipped with Disk brakes (much better stopping power). You'll have to move the spring pads on the explorer axle in a little to match the BII's leafs.
