fuel leak

97 F150 4.6L 4X4...If I fill up with gas as fast as the pump will pump gas leaks from the top of the fuel tank. I also get codes 1151 and 455. What should I be checking first? I need to get this fixed as my mother in law is getting tired of pumping my gas.

You might check to see if the filler hose that goes into the top of the tank hasn't popped loose it is held on by a screw type hose clamp.

And if I am not mistaken those are the codes it throws up when your gas cap is loose so I would look for a bad connection
