55 F-100 progress

Not a lot of progress lately but I have managed to get the driver's side rear fender cut up and recessed the 49 Kaiser taillight assembly into it.

now on to the passenger side....

WOW!!!!

That is awesome!!! It will definatley be unique. I used 46 Chrysler Town and Country tailights on my 49.

I can't wait to see those babies when they are all lit up

The inside edge of the housing (right side , near the box) comes in about an inch, the middle of the housing is recessed 2-3 inches and the outside left end actually overlaps onto the oustide of the original bodyline. I used 3/16" square stock (2 layers where needed) to create the lip for those edges.
