To tell the difference between a cali and Federal truck you need to look at the passenger side valve cover sticker. it should say whether it is California emissions. Also you can look in the valley where the fuel pump is. At the back of the fuel pump is its a federal truck there will just be a large bolt head and two steel lines coming of the back. If its a california truck there will be a black disc type thing there also. that is a pulse damperner for the fuel pressure.
Question: I just found a sticker on my EX it is on the hood near the latch. It says it has cali emisions. What would be different on this one verses a federal one?
