I am looking at a F250 V10 4X4 FX4 with a MSRP of $39220.00 Can anyone give me what they believe would be a good deal for me to offer and a deal a dealer would accept? The truck is on the lot so it does not need to be ordered.
Please help I am cash strapped but really want this truck without getting hosed. You guys all seem to be pretty savey to what goes on and I am new at this.
First, find someone who can get you on the X-plan.
OK, if that doesn't work, plan 2.
Get on the ford web site and build that truck, as exact as you can get.
Next, tell the Ford web site to search for your truck. Make sure you find THAT truck at the dealer you want it from. (Hopefully he will have it on line, most of them do).
Hit the "request a price" button and give them your e-mail and phone number.
They will get back to you with a "no dicker" internet price.
I'm not sure how much you can shave off of an '08 right now. Good luck.
You didn't state if the truck was an 08 or an 07. on the 07 trucks there is a 2007.00 rebate on them so that would make it more in your price range. I would over 33,700 for the truck if its an 07. I bought my now wrecked 06 f-250 diesel crewcab 4x4 for 31,900 in december of 06 which had a MSRP or 44,500
2007s have $2000 + $2007 (and 0% for a certain amount of time). Also available is a $1500 Super Duty 'owner loyalty' rebate, as well as an upfitter credit of.. I believe 1500. Oh, and of course any other rebates you may be qualified for (AQHA, etc). Happy shopping
wow, I can get $9500 off of a 2007 and $4500 off 2008 plus the discounted Military price. I thought the X plan was supposed to be better than the Military discount.
