cruise control
i also am fixin' to attempt to install the cruise control out of my '85 3/4 ton into my '72, was wondering if anyone knows if the steering wheel will fit, as this is where the switches are located, also, hopefully the speedo cables will interchange, anyone know?

JD, I am running a wheel from a 86 in my 66 on a 76 column. My wheel has the cruise buttons and a horn bar that goes all the way across. It does not mate up properly. My horn only blows when I hit the off button going straight ahead, and the turn signal cancel does not work.
Me thinks you might be better off trying to get the complete column assembly in the truck somehow. That is another project that is on my want to try one day list.
