i got an oil leak right behin my fuel filter. i checked the lines all around it running and off and saw no leaks.. is there any o rings in that area at all?
Check the HPOP o-rings and all boot connections. I went through this last week, I had a puddle of oil in the valley. The oil was making it's way to the back and then dripping down to the ground, exiting from the transmission inspection cover.
I took it to Ford and they repaired under the 5 year/100,000 mile warranty. They replaced two boots and changed the o-rings.
Tex,
They didn't give you S**t about all those mods?? Or do you know someone down there? I was thinking of having my dealer do some warranty work for me recently, but I spent the time & $180 and did it on my own.
Nope, they didn't say anything at all. I was surprised too. I went to Gullo Ford in Conroe TX.
The only thing that was said was by the technician and he just came out to say that it was a nice truck and that he liked the intake.
The service manager made sure to tell me before I left with the truck that my warranty would be good until the end of October and that if I needed anything to give him a call.
I have bought a few cars there. Maybe that is it. Maybe it's just their level of customer service.
