New Exhaust Install ?
I just recently ordered an MBRP 4" turbo back exhaust and some guages. I havent gotten them in yet but I was looking at the current exhaust to see how tough the install would be. And after looking at it my question is how in the world do you get the old downpipe off and get the new one on? Space seems a little tight to be doing much wrench turning. And do you have to cut the existing exhaust at the bottom of the downpipe to pull it out? Any tips from someone who has done this install would be greatly appreciated.

Two of us did my MBRP in 2 hours flat. Be ready to trim the extension pipe, unless you have a CC LB (takes the whole pipe) or a standard cab SB (no extension pipe needed at all). As Pocket said, you definitely need to cut the stock DP off. I also cut the tail pipe since I was trashing mine anyway. I guess I was lucky with my V-clamp -- I didn't spray it and it came off very easily once it was broke loose. I didn't even use a wrench after it was loose -- just an extension, a universal, and my hand. I sprayed the rest with PB Blaster -- good stuff!!
