429 heads

I've been thinking about doing a rest on my truck. all it would need is bushings and a good freshining. i want a 429 (68-71), high comp. ratio, high hp. What would be the best, reasonably priced heads to go with on this project?? Thanks for the response.

Blue78witha300, The ones that will be on it are the ones you want. They will be small chamber heads. That is if it still has the orignals on it.

C8VE-A or C9VE-A heads will do fine. without breaking the bank.

Don't over look the Edelbrock heads. They are not cheap but they won't break the bank either. Great head right out of the box. Of course you also need the cam and induction/exhaust to get your money's worth out of these babies.
