I've had the engine on the hoist w/ the motor mount tower out and was able to leave the motor mount on the block. I've got the fan up to the fan shroud to where i can't lift any higher. I thought about augering out a couple of holes on the header but I really don't want to have to pull that thing back out and just don't want to do it at all. I also have considered nut and bolting that one hole w/ the helicoil. Especially if that helicoil comes out...I ain't about to start pulling that head. For now I'm waitin for pops to get home from work and get his opinion or just let him do all the work!
Ya I always do as much work as I can to help out my dad. He's a hard workin man and i hate to put any more on his plate. But I've always been quick to pick his brain. Well the helicoil was loose so we went ahead and backed it out and we're gonna get a new one tomorrow and then I guess I'll have to start widening some header flange holes. But that might have to wait till next weekend as I'm leaving Mon for Wyoming...Scouderville.
