Removing the Front Clip this weekend to get after my front suspension and steering. I'd like to buy a sand blaster. I understand there are siphon types and pressure types. Pressure is the way to go. I already have a 60 Gallon 6HP Compressor.
Eastwood seems to show the same basic models but one family is up to $800 bones and the other is about $200. The specs don't seem to show a lot of difference. Anyone know why ? (China?)
I'm thinking Harbor Freight for what I need but I if there's a significant difference, I always choose the better equipment.
I also have a HF blaster and would buy it again, reasonable especially when caught on sale and they are almost always on sale. Be sure to get extra ceramic nozzles, they don't last too long. I use the smallest size tips with my 60 gal. tank. A good water trap is a must as is a good respirator and hood.
i would use a regulator set at about 50-60 psi to help a smaller compressor keep up with pace.sure makes the supply of air and sand go alot further.also use only coal slag for your own safty.better known as black beauty not the real sand
