I found a place (A&B Electrical). The guy said just remove the entire cable system and bring it in. He said he could make/build one identical. They sell heavy duty starters/cables/cable ends etc. He said he does this all the time. Also said it would probably cost around $100-$120 for the entire thing, is that a good price?
Since this is my first diesel can someone please tell me how (what order) to disconnect the entire battery cable system so I can take the entire thing to them to make me another one.
Bumpty, bump I'm trying to do this in the next two hrs. --Anyone?

Remove both negative cables first and then the positive. They sell large guage battery cablr by the foot at tractor supply. It should be your cheapest way to go. Did you drive back from florida with a c-clamp as a cable end?
Your engine compartment looks really rough. i'd change all of the fluids and filters. Your a senior user allready lol.
I did drive all the way back from Florida with the C-clamp, heck it starts great and on first crank.
Oil has about 900 miles on it and looks goodand clean
I know it's a little rough looking but I didn't buy it to have a show engine or truck.
I am going to change to a Tymar (spelling) air filter and get bigger tranny cooler.
I'm also going to change all hoses and coolant flush/change
Is there just the upper and lower coolant hoses?
What should I clean up engine with? Just some cleaner and a lot of shop rags or towels? Thanks for battery info.
Both negatives, then positives and then disconnect form the starter?
