Well, its not really for off-roading, but I'm about to make my truck 8lug. 10.25 ff rear (I might be selling one of these on the cheap, btw), chebby spindles/hubs on the ttb, 4.10s, and 33's. I'll eventually put f250 leaves under the rear and possibly f250 coils in front. Kinda setting it up to haul the Bronco and other junk around. I'm sure it'll see some mud, though. Maybe even snow if things work out.

For my 79 Bronco, I'm still swapping transfer cases.
Well the 203 is out, 205 is on, just got a few parts to convert the 1310 yokes to 1330(alittle stronger, but mostly so I don't have to use conversion joints for the driveshaft to work).

I have to modify the crossmember alittle for things to work properly, and depending no how much I need to do, I might end up welding a little brace for strength.

Still debating on twin sticking the 205 or using stock the linkage between the shift rails(the one I need has a curve to it, so if anyone has one please let me know).... I'm sick and tired of takeing the t case off and on, so I might just go stock.

I'm like cutts, I need someone to kick me in the a*s before I do anything.

Tomorrow, finish replaceing the front coil over shocks on my dad's truck..... That's the most shi* I've ever had to do to replace a shock.

haha thats what i'm doing right now... nothing like a Shiner Bock!

Summer school has actually been keeping me working on my truck pretty consistantly. I get up around 7 and have class at 8:00-10:00 (somehow I can't be on time to class, even though I get up at 6:45 ) and after that I work on the truck until waaaay late, with breaks for lunch, diner, and of course, can't forget those crucial breaks for posting. Also, my friend is swapping a 12v 5.9L Cummins into his 79 Bronco and getting 1 tons while he's at it, so I help him with that too...

I'm also kinda sitting at this point because I dont know where I want to go from here. I've had about all the metal fabrication I can take in the past week, so I really don't want to fabricate the the front spring perches (such an easy job, but such a gay job too) and I can't -carefully- reinstall the rockwell differential chunks by myself, and my brother isn't home. Arg.

What a drunken ramble.

Yeah, its not in great shape right now... He did the chittiest paint job, and I about smacked him. We're giong to redo it, and replace one of the doors that is bent to hell. The 351 is actually still in it, kindof. I've never had this much trouble pulling an engine before, and neither has he, and this isn't our first go about with a 351 either, its the 3rd. Cummins is still in the project truck.

Started like this, no real progress pics (won't show you the new paint job until its fixed ):

Haha, yeah no its not a good paint job. I'm going to make him sand it off... maybe talk him into some gunmetal grey or something.

May box the frame, we'll see. If it were me, hell yeah. He has a "different" way of doing things though. Ever heard this:

1)Cheap
2)Fast
3)Good

-Pick two.

I've picked Cheap & Fast before On my truck, and I keicked myself in the **** later... So I try to aviod picking the first two together and always pick the 3rd. I'm still trying to get him to listen to me.

Talking

Nice plans for the Bronco, but keep trying to get him to do a GOOD job.
The pait, well it's interesting.

I finished doing the front shocks on my dad's truck today and didn't do anything on the bronco( I thought about it, but being soaked with sweat and dead tired the thought didn't stay long). Damned 95* heat and 100* humidity and no wind.

So tonight, I'm going to be doing this then this , again.

I guess you could call the paint interesting... it sucks. I'll do my best with him, he's shipping out to base for MOS stuff in a few days, hopefully when he comes back he won't be uber-lazy.

I reinstalled my differential on the front rockwell today, but not the rear bc its missing two studs that I broke during disassembly, and they are under the pinion where they can only be installed when the differential chunk is out of the axle.

As far as the , I think a beer or two tonight would do some good for me as well

I have been trying to get my 79 mudracer together, I have it completely gutted and seats mounted in it. I have to build a dash and mount my fuel cell, trim front fenders and cage the rear and mount my quicksilver shifter. I should be done haying at the end of this week and then hopefully I can hit it hard for a couple days and have it pretty much buttoned up. My 70 f-250 is just a rolling chassis right now. I am going to paint the frame on it and put a 79 cab and front clip on it with an interior cage and flatbed.
