SCT programmer for 6.4

Has anyone installed the SCT programmer. Does it come with a pillar to mount, Whats the performance like. From what i have read, this is the best programmer for the 6.4 , because it tunes the enigne and transmission. Your comments would be helpfull.

I should have mine in the morning and will be able to tell ya more after I get back from the 4th july vacation. I hope it comes with a mount.

How can the SCT be the best for the 6.4L? this truck/eng is so new that barely any companies have released programers yet.

True, but SCT seems to be have been the only company that was ready for the 08 launch.

Good, its seems as though SCT is always "on the ball" when it comes to new engines.....I remember when they had tunes for the '05 Mustang before anybody else.

So whats this programmer run, and is it plug-n-play? Also will the dealer know if you put it back to stock fro a warranty issue?

Bully dog makes a pup add on for 90 HP increase but i have heard that the trans tune sucks. Tune causes the trans to slip alot, some people have knock the trans out in less than 25,000 miles. TS also makes a tune.

From the other forums i've been in, the SCT is the best on the market for know. The trans tune can be change to your preffrence, no real problems running in the 120 hp extreme tune.

SCT will have a tune shortly that will turn the regen off so that will no longer be a problem. The filter can be removed and replaced with a dummy pipe.

Super chips also makes a programmer
