Every on road diesel pump in the country is mandated to be ULSD by now. I can't remember the date that the switch had to be final but every pump in the country should be ULSD.
Your right. I was thinking retail pumps already had to be completely switched over. I know that every pump I go to here in michigan is ULSD. I guess I am surprised that other parts of the country have availibility issues.
I looked for the ulsd (the sticker) at all the stations in my area. Not a single station had it , but many have been certified this year. I looked online and found out all diesel in California is ulsd. Therefore the pumps do not need the sticker.
This is my first diesel and I love it.
theblueox, do you have the link that says all stations in CA use ULSD? I would like to read up on it.
Uhhh yeah, about that, there wont be a subscription from me until somethings....... Well you know

.....Like when your done paying for that new truck you got there in your driveway?
Understandable! But I do want to make sure the rest of these guys know there is an easy way to rid their screen of those advertisements! it quick and painless and can be done for 3 years at a time! Ask me how I know!
as soon as somebody around here has the guts to buy one. but there is no sense. I doubt I will stand a chance. I think I am due for another test drive just for the fun of it. I think I might so some snooping at GM and dodge too just to compare the new engines. I hear the Cummins 6.7 is a monster. Be fun to find out. Though I will never get rid of my 7.3! I will hand this truck (well atleast the engine) to my kids!
I to drove the new cummins and the lmm duracrap and the only neat thing outta the two of them is the cummins has a factory exhaust brake that'll slow your **** down to a stop! I have first hand expereince, lol. The salesmen was eating the headrest of the drivers seat by the time I was done drivin the pig, lol. The 6.4 is hands down better then the other two diesels. Go drive 'em and you'll know what Im talking about.

I seeing but I not believing cowboy... exhaust brakes works pretty good huh LMAO, too bad they don't have a modified heat riser valve?
I would ditch the exhaust brake and go with my EBPV off my 7.3. Performs way better, haha.
That salesmen thought those exhaust brakes work pretty good to after scrapin his face off the back of the seat, lol.
Dave do you have a brake out for the 6.4 yet? If so we need to talk, asap! lol
Cowboy Steve
Come for a ride in my brothers Ford with (Exhaust Brake) and you can taste the leather too lol..
We are about 3 months away from the release of the exhaust brake for the 6.4L... if all goes well. We are hitting some speed bumps due to complexity of the exhaust though...
