I got a little work done on the 78 this weekend. I put in a carb kit, man was the carb ever full of junk, I can't believe that is was still running. I painted the rims so they are all the same color now. The hub caps also got a coat of paint, the ones on the rear where very beat up and rusty. I also touched up some stone chips so it is starting to look fairly decent. Hopefully tonight I will get some pictures up so you all can have a look.
When I got my 71 F350 the hood was toast, I lucked out and found a matching red parts truck with a nice hood and other good parts on it including a decent box. The hood buffed out great and it was the same price for the parts truck as painting the spare hood I had, $400!
Glen has a door (which is red)for me that I will be picking up when I am in Saskatoon. Just needs a little rust repair in the corners and it will be good to go.
