It's a good idea. You will like the results. When you vent both sides to atmosphere there is almost none of that annoying blue smoke drifting out from under the truck.....probably because the rings are sealing better.

2 of them work good on gassers, should be OK on diesels too, I've done 3 CCV mods (single) on our diesels. I haven't noticed any difference except under the hood & the IC boots stay clean. The gassers I've done showed an extra 10-20 HP on the dyno.

Here's a link to more info, scroll dowm the page:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...ccv-flack.html

I have installed many of these kits. Any turbo/super charged engine will benefit from pulling a vacuum in the crankcase.

well here is my response that I tried to send earlier this morning but didn't go through

An easier way would be to get the extented oil filler neck from a superduty then just drill a hole and put a threaded barb fitting in the side to hook your hose to. The valve covers are double walled and it might be kind of hard to work with to get the holes right.

other than that it will be a good thing to do.

Superb idea tj. That seems like it would be the easiest. I may try that and T it into my other hose that runs to the back. Hmmm I wonder if the wife would miss hers?

No chance of that happening she knows the shop is for me to play in, she can help if she wants but that is my kingdom.

Seriously could I swap hers with mine? Or would I have to swap the entire VC? That may be easier anyway.

that extension threads right into the valve cover and they are all the same. 94.5-03 7.3 and the 6.0 even (got one on my truck after the IC install). then the cap threads onto the extension. I even put the superduty extension on my 95 with no IC just to make it easier to get to after the coolant filter was installed.
