Well thanks for all the replies, go it in to a RV repair shop this morning and they basically did another diagnostic test and determined that three plugs were misfiring. They put in some stuff called c-foam or something like in the tank and said it was bad gas. Got back on the road and made it about 100 miles to Birmingham and it started doing it again. We just got it hauled to another Dealership that Ford referred us to do the repairs. They told us that they were going to change the filter and drop the tank and flush it to make sure there is nothing is going on there. Are these tanks polyethylene or steel. I'm at a lost for words really.
How can it be bad gas? Ya said ya refilled the tank so the majority of the fuel would have been replaced. That's not to say that there isn't gunk in the tank.

We did try loosening the cap and it did it after about 25 miles of driving, like I said I'm clueless when it comes to these newer vehicles. It had roughly 1/4 tank of fuel when we refueled and seeing I'm no mechanic I can't really disagree with the guy seeing they deal with this stuff on a regular basis.
Ya may have had bad gas to start with that fouled the plugs and plugged the filter. Cleaning the tank is not a bad idea. But with 3/4 of a tank of new gas and C foam I would think the gas is fine. I'd be mad if they say they threw away a 100 dollars worth of good gas. I would bet that after they refill yer tank and charge ya for the new fuel they will use yours. Granted there may be gunk in the tank. but once the fuel is drained and settles it should be fine. But if ya can afford it the new fuel will give ya peace of mind.
I wonder if................................................ .......
the gas was ok but the filter did not stop all of the gunk or filter itself caused the gunk to flow up to the injectors? I don't mean a dirty tank, but a bad filter. Well i will be watching the thread and am anxious to find the issue. luckily a 2005 with 6K on it should be under warrantee. WOO HOO!!!
Im still betting the fuel pump.Ive seen too many pumps fail.Even a tea spoon of water in the tank will take them out.Make shure the shop drains the tank compleatly to get all of the gunk out of it.Also have them check the tank vent tubes for holes in them or you will be back to the same thing all over.

next time you park that rig 1st fill the tank "FULL" and add conditioner to it,tank's that are part empty SWEAT inside.
Thanks guys for the input. Unfortunately they told us yesterday that the onyl thing that would be covered under warranty was the tow to the facility! Unbelievable if you ask me.
