2001 V10 Performance Chip

Does anyone have experience with performance chips for Superduty V10's. What is the BEST chip? Do you HAVE to use 92 octane for the chip to work or only if you want it to increase gas milage. Can you really feel the difference after the chip is installed. I lifted my truck and put larger tires on so I would like more power. I put a K&N filter in and chopped the muffler off and put a straight pipe on after the cat and can't really feel any difference. Thanks for the input.

2001 V10 Performance Chip

How much larger in diameter tires did you get? If there large, you changed your gear ratio. Did you change gears? If not, that's where the power went.

2001 V10 Performance Chip

I already have 430's for gears. Mine didn't come with the 373's so I don't really need to change the gears. I could go with 456's, but the 430's should be enough for my tires. I was told to go to 456's if you have larger than a 39in. tire (like 44's)and I don't.
