Thumbs up Any suggestions ?

I picked up my new F350 super duty 6.4 twin turbo diesel king ranch, about 1 month ago. I added a great pace edwards retractable, which I like. I also added a afe stage 2 air intake yesterday, but it has a high pitch whistle that drives me crazy. I had a K&N on my f150 that made a nice deep noise( no problem). Any suggestions out there? Also, what other modifications do you guys suggest? How about rims and tires? Not much into the big mudders, cause I do alot of pullin and highway drivin'! thanks for all the help!

I really dont know what to tell you about the whistling noise from the box. As far as tires, check into BFG TA KO's..they are good tires...they arent mudding tires, but they are A/T tires. They last a decently long time depending on your use...if its mostly highway driving, then you should be ok..depending on how big you want to go on your tires.

johnny56,

Remove the A/M air intake and put the OEM Donaldson back on it. All the A/M air intake is going to do for you is dust your turbo and invalidate your engine warranty. The OEM Donaldson air intake flows more air than the stock 6.4 can use. A/M air intakes may work on gas applications but they are bad news on the 6.0 & 6.4 turbo diesels.

As for tires, since you do a lot of highway driving and towing, a good set of Load E All Season radials, manufacture of your choice.
