My Rangers horn hasn't been working for months now. But i think i know why. I've checked EVERYTHING I could think of that would cause the horn to die. The fuse, relay, switch, even the horn its self. Now looking at my wonderful Haynes, i learned of a little device called a "?Fuse Link?". Or so my manual says. It shows it as being attached to a Yellow wire that turns into a Yellow/Light Blue wire off of junction 55. Now the wiring diagram is very poor and doesn't even display where that horn and all of it's components fit into the equation, but if anyone knows where this little bugger is, I can fix my truck the right way.
P.S. This book really is quite bad. I've had it for two weeks, and just fund this small whisp of something on the horn.
EDIT: FYI the horn is dead because it "burnt out" when i t-boned a guy. It wouldn't shut off after airbag deployed.
Never Mind. I finally found what i was looking for. twas a pinched wire. I spliuced it back together, hooked it back up, and pressed the horn. Wow. That took way too long to find it.
I just saw something funny. Chevy ads, on a ford site.
