is it possible for the FSS to go out? i fixed my fuel tank problem(i think) and now it just cranks and cranks and wont fire even with a shot of starter fluid, and not exhaust is coming out.....
they are on a switch, which the previous owner said didnt work, let alone it has all bad gps, which is fine with me, but another thing that gets me is i had it running and probaly drove it 200 miles before it stopped running...
did it die when you were driving it? if it started then doesnt mean it will start again. id get new glow plugs and see what happens since it sounds like you need them anyways
i agree, and yes, it died while driving, had to get my buddy to tow me home with his chevy(my head is still hanging) the problem is, im not getting fuel....i have clear line at the tank ware i just put the pump in, im getting fuel out, and fuel back in via retuen line now, but no start up, and ive even jumped the FSS, with no avail....
my guess is the IP went out, or mabey just the FSS, its my understanding that if the IP is pumping fuel to the injectors, that they wont get it, and this happen when the FSS goes out...
BTW Dave, i have fuel to the motor, and fuel coming back into the tank via return line, i can see it, i used clear fuel line, so it must be my IP, can i get another FSS solenoid?
