I do not believe that changing the Vavle Body would correct your issues. If its already slipping, you'll just need a new tranny sooner or later. Now if your trans was not slipping and you just needed a firmer shift, a valve body would be fine.
I went the VB route and winthin a year I was going down to BTS to swap out my reman trans. (first Ford trans went out at about 30K, slipping, slipping. slipping) Second trans lasted only 18 months (Ford reman). BTS has been holding up good.
