I like your tool box idea. I've been thinking of doing something similar like that myself. However, I would need to bolt it down or it would roll to the back and take out my tailgate when I launch at the stoplights...no matter how hard I try, I just can't control my right foot....
Amazing job Jim! and it is not too many pictures. Very good descriptions also.
I'm with 53fatfndr though, I would be terrified of the tool box moving and messing up all your good work. No matter how carefull you drive somebody is going to cause you to slam on the brakes.
Well, the box actually has set of plastic, block type mounts that bolt to the floor of the bed and inside the box are a coupe of steel "push down and twist" cam type locks that engage the blocks and allow for attachment and removal of the box and that even Branden's right foot and your big block ponies could not dislodge, but at shows, the blocks would be unsightly. I have a ratcheting strap that i may sub for the rubber bungee. Chalk up another victim of vanity..
Wow!! Simply amazing, very nicely done my good man. Thanls for the close up pics of the hold down rings/frosty beverage holders. They are pretty cool.

Branden, Just install some el cheapo bias plies on the back of your truck. That way when that heavy old foot of yours mashes the pedal into the floorboards the tires will just go up in smoke instead of launching the truck forward......Don't ask me how I know....lol
