Freakin Hubs!!!!!!!

Hey, I did a brake job on my truck last weekend. After figuring out what came off and stuff like that. I put it back together in the order and my hub bolts are tight but i can still move the hub casing around. I have the manual locking hubs and i locked them and put the truck in 4x4 and it went in. I wasnt going to worry about it but im starting to get grease on my wheels and i dont want to run the bearings dry. WUT THE HECK IS GOING ON!!

You didn't put it back together right. Sounds like you forgot the snap ring just outboard of the hubs.

I found that you need to use an oversized hex or torx bit, hit it in with a hammer (softly!!) then undo with ease!

They also make reverse drill bits. You start to drill and if it grabs, it backs the screw off. I've used them sevral times.

I forgot to mention. About the grease leak. You might install new o-rings with some silicone. But the best thing is to put the crome dress tubes on. they go out just far enough to catch the grease that is flung. It wont fling it all. Mine have been leaking for years.
