Engines, Engines, Engines.

Ive driven both the 7.3 and 6.0 diesels and personally the 7.3 is my favourite. However ive always been curious what others thought, so which is the ideal motor and some of the pro cons?

Also, would it be realistic to convert my 360 into a 390? If so would it just be crank and rods (pistons etc if needed)?

The 6.0 has more options for power adding. I'm a fan of the 7.3 myself, I like the bigger diesel, but the electronics on the 6.0 make it the better motor.

I like the 7.3 better.

More reliable and more low end power. Plus they can be tuned up to and over the 6.0 power level and still be reliable.

Only downside of the 7.3 is the auto that it came with.
