After I found my V10 engine replacement for my blown V10, I now find an E350 2002 with a 7.3 Powerstroke. I've dreamed of a diesel replacement but I couldn't begin to find a truck.
Here's the rub-
The guy tells me it has 400k on it, and it is all original, runs great etc.,
Would anyone even consider buying a 7.3 with this kind of mileage or what?
How much is he asking for it? How many miles on your replacement V10?
Seems like a "risk" to me... even though it's a tough engine 400k seems like alot especially considering you don't know how it was driven or how regularly maintained it was.
You're also probably looking at a much more costly and time consuming swap.

$1500 for the entire truck.
146k on my replacement v10.
400k seems like too much for me, and a real expensive swap.....
