Wake vs Sway

I want to find out if it is just my set up or if everyone expierences this when towing. I have an 03 X 6.0 and a 25' Starcraft Hybrid 7100lb trailer. I installed bilstien all away around, Hellwig sway bar, and 1200/12000lb Equalizer hitch. I do not have sway but I do get white nuckled when tractor trailers or bus pass me. It feels like a wake on the lake. they push me off the road then suck me back in when the end of thier trailer reachs the X. My trailer is not swaying side to side off my hitch, my X and trailer are swaying side to side as one unit from the tractor trailer or bus. Is that normal? I can manage it but it would be nice if I could fix it!

you might want to invest in a set of rear springs. make sure they are B code. also, search for WANDER. everyones truck does it. EVERYONES......

You asked the million dollar question. X hemi guy seems to be real knowledgeable with ths stuff. He is helping me get dialed in. Atleast you are not alone.

This is common occcurance towing a tag trailer. It's better if you see them coming, but if they sneak up, er, I'm not paying attn, it's kinda scary.

I bought a used Hensley and it's much better. Just a hint of push/pull. Very managable.
