Going to race dirt or black top? Dirt cars are a ton of fun. If they look nice and pretty after a night of racing that usually means you finished last or close to it.
After awhile the mean, torn up, dented look dirt cars get adds to it's bad as appeal in my opinion.
Dirt track ..... its the only way to go ..... I KNOW it will come home saturday nite , beat up and scratched .... as much as it cost to race , aint no way im gonna be easy and try not to hurt it .... im gonna keep the pedal to the medal , accept when i let up in the turn to get the rear to come around lol ...
I drove mine easy for my practice and first lap. Coming out of turn two on the second lap I got chopped and scratched the front right fender. After that, it was all out!
Sweet! Too bad it won't look near as good after the first race! As I previously posted, I got hooked hard on racing last year. My son and I are planning on putting a car together for next year. Bomber class, that way we can both ride in it. Can't wait!
Rich , is that the class were one drives , and the other pushes the pedals ??? , if it is we call them Cruisers ... and they quit racin them around here.
Nosir, Bomber class is an actual class out here. Not much more than a gutted out interior, roll cage, no glass. You can have two people in the car. Passenger is just that. We have a German Air Force Squadron out here at Holloman Air Force Base. One of their guys drives an old Escort. Son of a gun wins dang near every time. It's a riot to watch him. He's got a huge following of fans too. They are hilarious.
I know the two pedal cars you are talking about. We went up to the local putt putt track a month or so ago and rode them. Some guy and his little 3 year old cut me off. Pee'd on his tires out in the parking lot before we left. See if he tries that again...
