Quick 4x4 conversion

Well i finaly got around to throwing in the front axle in my dually. Just wanted to show some basics on it. I wanted to use stock suspension parts, as most people lift the truck it seems.

Truck is 93 f350 exta cab dually
Donor truck is a 93 c350 centurion ( yea i cut up a centurion)

Centurion geting cut up

Front end out of mine

Cut the boxed section out of centurion front frame section.

Used this area as a reference point, as it is identicle on both frames it seems

Welded in this section from centurion

Bolted and welded in boxed front section for completetion of hanger. Also needed to cut a notch underthis where hanger goes through bottom of frame

Shock mount installed

Front axle rolled under and bolted on infront

Thats mostly it on pics, the rest is straight forward. Just drill and bolt. Will take other pics if people request.

The rear i just swaped put the lift blocks, longer shocks, extended the sway bar links, longer u bolts etc.

Hanger bearing needed a spacer

Before

After and is allot taller than i thought

I have the dually hub adapters, just didnt do them yet.

Any questions just ask.
