20" Daytons on an F-1?! Hate to see any classic stuff get wasted, but this may have been a mercy killing!
Look at how the upper grille panel ripped at the joint to the left front fender...either the fender is 'glas or ???? I can't think how it would rip like that unless the grille panel and fender were welded together?
If the cab is clean that would be worth what they likely will get for the whole truck.
PS look at the running boards - appear to be cherry.
The vehicle is classified as a theft with damage to the front. My guess that it was likely stolen for the rims and then crashed trying to make a fast get away.
From the damage, it likely hit a tree or some other stationary object.

By looking at the photos , I'd say that the fenders are all steel aand the rip was likely due to weakened old steel in the fold at the seam.
Had those fenders been class they would have been dust.....
Talk about a mess. The hood and fender are nothing, look at what the owner did in the engine compartment! I have to agree though, that cab looks pretty sweet. Doors and rear fenders look really good too.
This was a cob job. Cobbled together from more than one. Someone prolly had a parts truck with a good title, and switched VIN plates. Mis-matched bucket seats, and that orange painted heater is just lovely.
What's that screen door like material under the hood?
Notice the missing radio. One has to wonder if this wasn't "stolen on purpose."
Stolen on purpose, then wrecked on purpose?
Someone wanted the (prolly overinflated value) insurance money.
Kinda odd that the steering wheel shows no evidence from any accident. No windshield damage, either. Somehow, I can't picture a thief taking the time to buckle on a shoulder harness, when in a hurry.

I just realized that they bondo'd over the fender-to-front-extension joint on the left fender, I have a feeling there is a lot of hidden stuff under that bright paint...but, you would get a 302 & A/T, hanging pedals, decent cab (?), running boards, and bed, maybe a 9"? sell off the wheels, could be a money maker...
