New guy from Macon
It's a small world. I have been hunting in Berrien county now for 4 yrs. and I really like it. We have 9 members and 720 acres in the club I'm in. The land we hunt is surrounded by 2000 acres owned by one of the members. It's nice not having some 50 member club surrounding you. Your welcome to come hunt with me anytime.
Those are some nice Bronco's you have. I love the 78-79 Broncos.
If you ever want to sell one of the 78's let me know, that is exactly what I am looking for.

Sorry, no bronco for sale in this yard....Need 2 more

Leesburg, is that down near Albany?
Hey 3broncocrazy,
I will have to let you know next I come down, maybe we could meet up and shoot the bull. I should be comming down in the next month or so to get our food plots going.
I just thought I'd ask about the Bronco's, you never know.

I will probably plant a variety like last year. I usually plant clover, chicory, brassica, and some kind of winter greens (turnips, kale, rape, vetch).
We have a new 5 acre plot this year that I haven't decided on what to plant yet, I'm thinking about the outer edges in corn and peas, and the inside a mixture of clover & chicory. The last couple of years it has been so dry down there that I usually don't start planting until late September.
Last year I used Whitetail Extreme, which is a mixture of Evergreen forbs, Landino Clover, and Chicory.
It is about 36% protein, only needs 15 inches of rain a year and is very heat resistant.
I was very pleased with the results. I usually plant Whitetail Institute, Bio-Logic, Tecomonte, they all seem about equal. The most important thing is P.H.
It dosen't matter what you plant if your P.H is off. Alot of guy's just plant without knowing their P.H and wonder why they only got 10-30% coverage.
The first year (2002), our average P.H. was 3.5 to 4.3 .
Last year they averaged 6.0 - 7.0 . I don't think I will have to Lime to much this year.Cory

Yea bud..Just north of Albany ..
Gald to see some hunting talk going on...I worked some feeders and mineral blaocks on Saturday in Randolph county....Found some strange rub marks...I think I have some big bobcats working my stands..
Anyway, I love this site, I can't tell you how much money it has saved me...But it has to be in thousands over the past few years...These guys have a ton of information, especially for the old trucks like mine...
Take care, and see ya around..!
See what happens when you stay away from the chapter bd. for too long, someone local shows up!!
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
It took me 7 years to find the truck your looking for and I won the bid by $50. It's the second 4x4 of that body style in my collection now............and I'll own em till I die.....or they do beyond surgical reconstruction. Up here a junk parts truck 4x4 of that model goes for $800 to a $1000 easy........and they are rarely sold. There's about 8 of em running around this area, I'll keep my eye out incase any of em come up for sale.
