SCT still has not got all the advertised features to work correctly yet, and it was not to long ago "Storm" had issues with a lost factory PCM program (twice) and then his "Livewire" lost its serial #.
SCT still has some work to do yet on the "Livewire" before it is ready for general use.
I'm going to second that.
As far as I'm concerned, it is still in "beta testing" until they get their issues resolved. Such is the reason I do not stock them.
I just recieved one of the "updated" units. I will install it in my test truck and see if they have fixed the issues that I had with them at debut. If so; I will carry them again. If not, I will let them know they best not even mention the name Livewire to me...because I am NOT happy about them thus far.
I updated my post above with more info from the techs at SCT via their Forum and they still have not released the firmware updates for the "Livewire" do to ongoing software problems and they still do not have the screen issues fixed. There are some PO "Livewire" owners on the SCT forum and the new version of "livelink" has some issues as well.
