Seems to me that f the 10K mod got wet and the resistor got compromised and the two ends touched it may cause it to mega mod and cause similiar probs. Good luck.

Well, had the idle problem today again, jumped out and unplugged the ICP sensor and it went back to normal idle. I take it that means the ICP is bad??

Going to go pick up a ICP sensor tomorrow... Will the 97 and up sensor work or do I have to get the 94.5 to 96 one? The 97 and up one is cheaper at my dealer for some reason. Thanks!

Parts for trucks over ten years old are higher for some reason. Local dealer priced a 96 fuel filter for twenty dollars more than a 97. And it is the same part number. Go figure.

Picked up the ICP sensor today from the local international dealer for $102 bucks, thought that was pretty good. Threw it in and presto. Not more rough idle, not more hesitation, no more check engine light or anything! Thanks guys. Also went ahead and got a IPR oring kit and going to do it just to be proactive about it as well as the CPS. Can't hurt to do something before it goes bad I guess. Thanks again!
