Don't have an 04-07 F150, but I run Rotella oil in the diesels/castrol in the gassers, MotorCraft filters(sometimes Fram), and firestone tires on everything on the road. try to keep it interco of the road.
After having been a perfectionist fanatic for so long i've gotten to the point where a Fram filter will do the job,Purolator oil filters are cheap enough,T/A radials are good enough and any oil thats not parafin and says Valvoline on it will last 6,000 miles just fine.I wax every six months with Mothers and in between keep the windows clean with a simple wet rag.A good build up of dust and dirt etc.,is good UV protection and also keeps people from leaning on it.If your truck looks too good you're only inviting dents and scratches and if your tires are shiny theres a nail just itchin to get in it.Always leave something on your truck unrepaired because the minute you've "got it right" a contract goes out in the Gremlin realm and it's as good as totalled right then.Vacuuming the interior is OK ever once in a while but trash on the floor protects from spills better. No sooner do you armor all anything a dust devil will blow thru and cover everything.Nothing rusts on an oily engine but a clean engine is a precursor to having to drop the tranny.Hi Perf is just another word for Hi Poof.If you think you need more power you actually need something else and it's probably alot cheaper and gotten with a fishing pole.Let your wife name YOUR truck, that way when she throws things at you she'll try not to hit HER truck because she's now bonded with it.If you NEED a new truck you probably really need a new wife.
