I cant get that dang pump to pull fuel, I have about ten gallons in there now and keyed it about 10x's til it shut off, but no go. WHat do I do to get this puppy started, thanks
P.S. this is after my hutch mod
Well, you want to prime the pump and there are no check valves from the fuel bowl to the pump that I know of. So ease it in the bowl and the air will work it's way out. Do it slowly as gravity is your friend. You will not be able to get all the air out but you should at least be able to clear it to the pump, and then some. Maybe all if it pushes it out through the tank. That is the objective, priming the pump if it is running.
maybe its starving for fuel, your intank mod might have to be checked, looks like your suction line might be bottom out and unce you turn the pump on it will stick to the bottom of the tank, to prime your pump it takes one turn of the key and you should be set, when i did my after first key turn my Dahl 150 and fuel lines were primed and had my set PSI on my gauge(but i have regulated return ), so you not getting fuel, if after 10 key turns you dont have fuel in the bowl, . let us know whats up

I've had my pump and fuel lines out several times, but never had trouble getting the pump to move fuel without priming. Did you check the lines over the tank to make sure something didn't get kinked when you reinstalled the tank? I know I had to be careful putting the tank back up to avoid kinking/pinching the lines.
I am watching this one with great interest because I'm doing my in-tanks next weekend.
One thing this discussion has brought to my little mind is that whenever i put the pickup line back in, in order to prevent it from "bottoming out, I'm going to cut the end in the shape of a point with opposite sides being bevelled at 45°. That way, if it does bottom out, it will only stick on a short piece of the line's end and the line will remain open. Do you guys think this would work?
You can also disconnect the fuel line at the intake side of the pump and take a length of fuel hose and reattach it to the pump and stick the other end in a container of diesel fuel.. That would show whether or not the problem is in the tank or not..
well after ten key turns nothing, the fuel bowl is empty. So I tried filling the bowl and see if it will flow back but its at the same level as before. So do I just stick a hose and blow air thruogh the smaller tube of the filler. I really dont want to pull the tank again it was a ***** by myself!
